Today, Xiaomi announced that its Tmall Super Brand Day Sale will open at 00:00 on July 11th. During this sale, Xiaomi’s flagship, Xiaomi Mi 8, will be available for sale at launch price. All three variants of this smartphone will be available for sale. The 6GB+64GB version will sell 2699 Yuan ($406) while the 6GB+128GB and 6GB+256GB variants go for 2999 Yuan ($452) and 3299 Yuan ($497) respectively. Xiaomi Mi 8 was released on May 31 in Shenzhen alongside other products. As of now, Xiaomi official website has this product on appointment but the production capacity of Xiaomi Mi 8 has been greatly improved compared with the initial stage of sales.
Xiaomi Mi 8 main selling points revolve around the inclusion of a dual-frequency GPS with accurate precision positioning, Snapdragon 845 SoC, DxOMark camera rating of 105, multi-functional NFC (support 167 city bus card), full-screen 5.0, dual 4G dual VoLTE, AI voice assistant and so on.
