UMIDIGI is an online-based phone maker that is mainly focused on the global market. The company is always trying to bring the latest trends from the mobile industry into good quality, yet much more affordable devices in order to make these features available to as many people as possible.

Today, UMIDIGI unveiled a video on its YouTube channel, where they show the stunning UMIDIGI Z2 Pro Luxury Ceramic in an unboxing video. There is no doubt that the premium package is specially designed for the luxury ceramic edition since it appears to be the best flagship ever launched from the company.

The UMIDIGI Z2 Pro luxury ceramic edition is the first phone packaged in a beautiful minimalist fashion box that also comes with the worldā€™s fastest wireless charger – the UMIDIGI Q1 – along with a super-slim UMIDIGI Z2 Pro case. The twilight and carbon fiber variants are also packaged very well (same way as the UMIDIGI Z2).

At the end of unboxing video, UMIDIGI finally unveiled the presale time for the UMIDIGI Z2 Pro. The presale of the UMIDIGI Z2 Pro will indeed kick off on August 13th at 2AM UTC time. This is really exciting news as we’ve been waiting for the Z2 Pro to go on sale for quite a while. Soon the flagship, yet affordable phone will be available for everybody to buy.

Well this is nice but like always the pricing also matters very much. At $400 it’s already in Mi8 territory and well … I and probably many others would much rather get that one.
Also as far as I know this one will have a Mediatek and honestly for a flagship I wouldn’t ever get Mediatek, I’ve had the X20 and it’s just not as good as the Qualcomm even though it gets good benchmark scores. Add to that the terrible source code and custom ROM availability + and almost certain lack of official updates and it’s just not worth it.
