Lenovo Leads the Indian PC + Tablet Market

Recently, Lenovo Chairman and CEO, Yang Yuanqing said on Weibo that he brought Lenovo’s global leadership team in India, and at the same time exposed ‘in the fourth quarter of the 2017/18 fiscal year, Lenovo regained the first position in the PC + tablet market in India.’

According to data released by Lenovo officially, in the 2017/18 fiscal year, Lenovo India PC maintained a growth rate of 20%, which also increased Lenovo’s annual market share by 4%.

On the tablet side, Lenovo’s tablet market share increased by 17 percentage points in the fourth quarter, reaching a historical record of 36.7%. It led Lenovo to regain the first position in the PC+ tablet market in India and then stack the first row of the tablet market. Thus, it became a double champion.

In terms of software, Lenovo also said that its eggplant express mail APP has hit the fourth place in the Google Play’s Indian list. And 360 million Indian users have become a major component of its global 1.5 billion users group.
