Alleged Xperia XZ3 and XZ3 compact certified by ANATEL

An unannounced Sony Xperia Smartphone a few hours ago has been certified by ANATEL, the Brazilian wireless authority. Listed with the model numbers: H-9461 and H-9463 the certifying document didn’t reveal anything other than the battery capacity which has been listed to be a 30,50mAh battery but with no evidence of any form of rapid charging.

We are not sure what the  H-9461 and H-9463 model numbers stand for, but there are insinuations they may be the Sony Xperia XZ3 and the Xperia XZ3 compact. Details about both devices are extremely scarce at the moment, however, we do know a couple of thing about the base Xperia XZ3. The devices are expected to arrive on August 30 in Berlin, Germany at its IFA press briefing where the Japanese giant is tipped offer up an “exclusive booth unveiling”.

Gizchina News of the week

There are a couple of conflicting reports on what the Xperia XZ3 might bring to the table in terms of design. While previous reports suggested a similar design to the Xperia XZ2 with wide, high-resolution screen on the front and dual camera setup on the back, a new report suggests otherwise, so we are in between two different reports.

The latest report has it that the Xperia XZ3 will come with a single rear camera featuring Sony’s latest IMX586 image sensor with a huge 48-megapixel camera optimized for low light photography.
