After the meeting, Zhao Ming, president of Honor, said in an interview that the previous generation of Honor 7X currently has more than 15 million units sold. So the 8X is expected to achieve 20 million units worldwide. He also revealed some information concerning the Honor Magic 2.

The Honor 8X Max uses a 7.12-inch ‘pearl screen’, which accounts for more than 90% of the front panel. At the same time, the grip is only equivalent to the traditional 6.3-inch smartphone. The Honor 8X comes with a 6.5-inch narrow-framed bangs full-screen. The chin is narrower. So the screen ratio is more than 90%. And the grip is equivalent to the traditional 5.5-inch model. As expected, the Honor 8X Max uses two chips of Snapdragon 660 and Snapdragon 636, while the Honor 8X is equipped with the Huawei’s mainstream chip of Kirin 710. The former is sold at 1499 yuan ($219), while the latter comes at 1399 yuan ($204).
