Samsung teases Galaxy J6+ and J4+ features on their website

Samsung is moving forward at a breakthrough pace at the moment. Just in May we saw the Galaxy J6 and J4, mid-range devices that weren’t interesting but still decent. They must have not been all that popular since we’re already expecting the Galaxy J6+ and J4+ pretty soon. Samsung apparently thinks the leaks aren’t enough, and have thrown a couple of teasers our way on their website advertising some new features.

Gizchina News of the week

These teasers basically confirm a few things about the new devices, namely that they’ll have side-mounted fingerprint scanners and Infinity displays. The side fingerprint sensor is especially interesting since it’s a first for the Korean company. Even the flagship Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S9 devices both have rear fingerprint sensors. It’s kind of surprising to see a bunch of mid-range devices take priority over their best.

The two mid-range devices will also come with Emotify, basically a simpler version of AR Emoji. We’re not exactly sure how it works, but it seems to give you the option to use an emoji avatar over your own face. There’s not really anything groundbreaking here, though we’ll reserve thoughts on the phone for when it actually launches, which should be soon.
