Huawei Mate 20 Leaked in Hands-on Video

AT IFA 2018, Huawei has officially confirmed to launch the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro smartphones on October 16th in London. There are already several leaks revealing the first look and key specifications of the Mate 20 Pro. Now, the Mate 20 hands-on video is posted on China’s Weibo. The device looks very much similar to the Mate 20 Pro. However, the brand name on the rear is mentioned as HYRION instead of Huawei.

As seen in the latest leaked images, the Mate 20 Pro will be coming with a notch display and in-display fingerprint sensor. Talking about the Mate 20, it sports waterdrop screen with a tiny notch and rear-facing fingerprint sensor. Both the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro will be coming with triple camera setup on the rear. Unlike the triple camera setup on the Huawei P20 Pro, the triple cameras along with LED flash are placed in a rectangular module in the center on the Mate 20 devices.

Since the Mate 20 comes with a tiny V-shaped notch, it will be missing the Face ID-like tech that Huawei is rumored to introduce with the Mate 20 Pro. From the video, we can see the Mate 20 with 3D curved glass back body. It will be powered by the 7nm Kirin 980 octa-core processor coupled with Mali G76 GPU. The Kirin 980 will be competing with the 7nm Apple A12 Bionic chip powering the latest iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.
