Owing to the technology marching forward at a rapid pace, OUKITEL has been able to offer decent Android smartphones at wallet-friendly prices in the past years. After the successful C8 4G phone, there’s now a new great price to performance ratio device, the OUKITEL C12 Pro; what the company claims to be the cheapest 4G LTE smartphone of 2018.
The C12 Pro runs on Android 8.1, features a large 6.18-inch display with 480 x 996 resolution and 2.5D curved bezels, offering a big and bright viewing experience. It’s also worth noting that the top notch design has been well implemented to supports notifications and other details from the status bar, which isn’t always true on budget phones. The HOMTOM C12 Pro is fueled by a 3300mAh battery and a 5V/1A charger, you can expect at least a full day of usage out of it.
OUKITEL C12 Pro then carries a MediaTek MT6739 quad-core processor clocked at 1.5Ghz, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage (with up to 64GB expansion). It is equipped with dual SIM card slots and an extra TF card slot, allowing you to insert 3 cards at the same time. The 8.0MP rear camera gets a GC8024 sensor with a secondary camera for achieving bokeh effect. Meanwhile the 5MP GC2385 front camera should produce pretty nice selfies. The supported networks for the C12 PRO include: 2G Frequency (850/900/1800/1900); 3G Frequency(WCDMA900/2100); 4G Frequency (1/3/7/20, 2100/1800/2600/800).
In terms of specs, C12 Pro really blows other phones in this category out of the water. Achieving about a 2 times higher AnTuTu score compared to other 2GB RAM+16GB ROM smartphones, mostly due to the newer CPU adopted, which makes it a great buy for the price.
To celebrate Chinese National Holiday, OUKITEL then offers an even lower price for the C12 PRO, pricing it just $79.99 on some authorized stores on AliExpress. You can find them all over here. Flash sale is set to kick off today September 27th and last up until October 7th.
