Leaked video showing the upcoming Elephone U2 Pro and PX

Elephone

We already know from the latest tidbits of information, that Elephone will be bringing quite an extensive lineup of brand new phones models to the Global Sources Expo in Hong Kong starting in 2 days. The flavor of the new models will be universally the pop-up camera with different designs, but maybe there will be some new surprises to popping-up on us, pun intended.

Today a small video got leaked showing both the Elephone U2 Pro and Elephone PX models, most certainly from the last testing phase before shipping off to Hong Kong. It’s quite refreshing seeing Elephone trying to adapt the modern designs and even technologies in order to compete with the “big dogs”. And after all the previous flagship models from the “U” were the first from the brand to use the Snapdragon processor, so breaking some ground too.

Gizchina News of the week

There is not much to see in the video and sadly we also can’t see the so-called “stealth camera” design, but from the already published promo pictures we can guess some stuff. Elephone U2 Pro is apparently going to be using the pop-up camera both for selfies and the rear one, so all four sensors will be placed on one pop-up module. Aside of that it will be featuring underscreen fingeprint scanner and probably more powerful hardware than the normal Elephone U2, which is penciled in with Helio P60.

Elephone PX on the other hand looks much more midrange, at least if we would take a guess thanks to the revealed HD+ resolution of the full screen 6,34-inch display. No word about the hardware yet, but the main gimmick will also be the pop-up camera, this time only for the dual selfie sensors. Anyway looking forward to the new Elephones, seems like they are really back in the game.
