Only a couple of months after it launched the mid-range Oppo F9 and Oppo F9 Pro, the Chinse phone maker – Oppo is now reportedly offering a larger storage variant of the F9 Pro. Initially launched in 4GB and 6GB RAM with 64GB storage, expandable up to 256 GB, Oppo has now released a 128GB storage variant of the device.
Although the device is yet to officially reflect on Oppo’s website, a reliable Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom says the device is now available for sale in India, and what is most interesting, the upgraded storage Oppo F9 pro costs about the same price as the base model. The official price is INR 25,990/$350, up from INR 23,990/$324 for the standard variant.
Much like the Oppo F7, the Oppo F9 pro main focus is on selfies and an alluring design. Speaking of the design, the Oppo F9 pro adopts the still trending notch display, but with a difference. The device flaunts a 6.3-inch display with a 90.8% STB ratio, a 19.5:9 Aspect Ratio and a ‘Waterdrop’ notch design much like the one on the essential phone. On the flip side, Oppo claims it has given the device a whole gradient design using Gradient Spraying Technology to create a fusion of different colours and offer gradient color matching options to users. The rear is house to a dual camera setup, as well as a fingerprint print scanner.
Internally, the Oppo F9 pro with 128GB variant is almost exactly the same as the Galaxy the base model.
