While previous speculations pointed to the release of a new flagship, but we can’t confirm it, after all, Nokia is busy with a new flagship for the next year in the form of Nokia 9 PureView. When it comes to the Indian market, the device to be released could be pretty much the recently released Nokia 7.1 Plus, the global variant of Nokia X7 that was announced last month in China. Surprisingly there is a strong change the handset debuts re-branded to Nokia 8.1 in India, but internals will remain the same.

The teaser could reflect the Nokia 7.1 Plus HDR-compliant display or the night red variant of the smartphone. Along with the Nokia 7.1 Plus there are rumors of two additional Nokia-branded smartphones coming to the country in the December 5 event, but we can’t confirm the identity of these devices until the moment.

Nokia 7.1 Plus can be a strong competitor in the Indian market with a 6.18-inch LCD IPS screen, Snapdragon 710, 6GB of RAM, 3,500mAh battery, dual 13MP+12MP rear cameras, and a 20MP front-facing snapper.
