Aside from the battle for who makes the first ever market ready foldable smartphone, Chinse tech giant- Huawei and its Korean rival are in a fierce race for who could kick-start what might become one of the industry leading trend in the coming Year 219 – the infinity O like display.
Although it was earlier rumored that Huawei could be the first to release a phone with a pinhole camera, while Samsung could take the second slot, Lenovo out of nowhere scheduled the launch of its Lenovo Z5s smartphone for December 6th, which is days before Huawei’s and Samsung’s scheduled date for the release of the Nova 4 and Galaxy A8s with a similar pinhole camera.
You will recall that news about the Honor View V20 starting flying around recently. That device as per the teaser released earlier is launching in Paris on January 22. However, reports say the device could be nothing but a rebadged Huawei Nova 4 meant for the other markets outside China.
Other than a few hands-on images that surfaced a few hours ago, there aren’t actually any concrete leaks that point to what we should expect of the Huawei Nova 4, however, a user agent profile posted on Huawei website recently suggests the Huawei Honor View 20 will come with a 2310×1080 screen resolution, and it will run Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9 on top.
