Lei Jun: Redmi 48MP ultra clear camera is different – supports super night scene mode

Today, Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi revealed some information regarding the upcoming Redmi brand and its first flagship phone. In addition to other things, Lei Jun said that the 48MP ultra clear camera used for Redmi’s upcoming smartphone “is different”. This is the first time that a Redmi phone will use a 48MP camera sensor. Lei Jun also stressed that this Redmi flagship supports the super night scene, and the imaging effect is worth looking forward to.

The Redmi upcoming flagship smartphone uses a 6.3-inch waterdrop display making it the first ever Xiaomi phone to do so. To improve its appearance and quality, Redmi used double-sided 2.5D glass and a gradient colour design for this device. In addition, Lei Jun said that the company has done a lot of work on quality improvement and assured netizens that they wont be disappointed.

Recall that a video of seven young men stepping on this smartphone surfaced online yesterday and after the rigorous steps, the device remained intact. If the upcoming device truly has such strength, then its one hell of a smartphone to look out for.
