Ren Zhengfei in a recent interview said that Huawei’s technological competition is peaceful and void of offense. Thus the recent ban by the US and part of Europe does not stop us from selling our products to other interestedĀ countries, Ren Zhengfei said. He further said that only a few countries have effected such a ban on its products and it only concentrates on nations that are willing to do business.

Ren Zhengfei also stressed that Huawei is not responsible for the decision of these countries. He said “We are a market economy. We are customer-centric. When they want to buy, I will still sell to them but I focus on the countries that want to buy my things”.
Huawei’s CEO said that the company has the world’s best 5G equipment and the world’s best microwave. This means that if these countries don’tĀ do business with Huawei, they will either be getting sub-standard goods or seriously overpriced goods. He added “there are only a few companies in the world with 5G equipment, there are only a few companies doing microwaves, and only one company is doing a good job with microwave and 5G.Ā When we put 5G and microwave together, we can return without the need for fiber”.
