Previously, MIUI official has also confirmed that the Super night scene function will be added to Redmi Note 7 but this update will be coming later. Unfortunately, there was no specific time tag for the arrival of the update. Thus Redmi Note 7 users and those who intends to buy this smartphone have to be patient.

Xiaomi’s super night scene function started with Xiaomi Mi MIX 3. The principle is that when the phone shutter is pressed, the camera will take 8 photos with different exposure schemes at the same time, and select key features (screen alignment, compensation correction, etc) for comparison. The final image will be a combination of the best key features from the individual images. This entire process takes place in a split second.
