Today, Xiaomi officially announced the Xiaomi Mijia Electric Scooter Pro. As the name suggests, this electric scooter is an upgraded version of the original Mijia electric scooter, maintaining some of the advantages of the previous version, but also comes with enhancements, such as the improved cruising range. This product is priced at 2,799 yuan ($413), and it will officially go on sale at 10 am on February 18. Users can make reservations in advance on Xiaomi’s official website.

 

The new Xiaomi Mijia Electric Scooter Pro provides up to six kinds of information displayed on the control panel, including the real-time speed, power, and so on. Now the battery life is up to 45 kilometers, and the fastest speed is six times that of walking. In addition, it can be easily folded for convenient short-distance travel.

Besides the control panel on the new Mijia Electric Scooter Pro, there is a power button in the center of the bottom of the panel. Short press in the power-off state can turn the scooter on. Press and hold for three seconds to turn off the power in the power-on state. Short press once to turn it on or off. The running lights can be switched to the speed mode by pressing twice in a row. In addition, the Xiaomi Mijia Electric Scooter Pro has three modes: energy saving mode, standard mode, and sports mode.

In terms of battery life, the Xiaomi Mijia Electric Scooter Pro uses a 474Wh 18650 power lithium battery, which can be used to check battery usage through the mobile app. In addition, our protagonist has a dual brake system – the front wheel uses E-ABS anti-lock braking system, while the rear wheel uses a ventilated disc brake system.
