Huawei P30 series screen resolutions and Android Versions uncovered

Huawei P30 Pro

The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro smartphones are set to take over over the momentum already set in place by the P20 and P20 Pro announced back in 2018. These devices may as per earlier reports will be unveiled at a separateĀ event later in March, until then, we have more time to dig out some details about the upcoming flagship grade devices.

While we have heard some rumors and leaks about the device design, and camera specs, a newly leaked user profile agent on Huawei’sĀ website has unwittingly revealed even more details about the upcoming flagship devices. We are talking of theĀ User Agent profiles for two Huawei phone with theĀ VOG-L29 and ELE-L29 model numbers which are believed to be the Huawei P30 Pro and Huawei P30.

Gizchina News of the week

Information revealed by the leaked profile suggests the Huawei P30 and the pro variant will both feature a 1080 x 2340 pixels Full HD+ resolution display, while both will boot Android 9.0 Pie operating system with Huawei’s EMUI 9.0 custom out of the box. The resolution is an indication that the upcoming P30 series will have a water drop notch style, a guess which is supportedĀ by some previously leaked screen protectors of both the Huawei P30, P30 Pro and the P30 Lite.

While we are yet to see proper renders of the devices, some reports suggest the Huawei P30 will have a triple-lens( Quad camera lens for the Huawei P30 PRO) rear camera, potentially with a lens of up to 40MP, perhaps with a 5x lossless optical zoom and a 24MP front-facing camera. The device is expected to use Huawei’s top rangeĀ HiSiliconā€™s 7nm Kirin 980 processor, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

We are not exactly sure when Huawei will unveil the new P series, but given that the P20 skipped the MWC 2018, Huawei is also likely to skip the MWC19 for special Parish event later in March.
