Moto G7 Power with Android Pie, 5,000mAh battery goes official in India

Last week, a number of retail chains reported the maximum retail price of the upcoming Moto G7 Power in India. This was surprising as there was no official declaration from Motorola for an official launch in the country. Hence the sudden retail price announcement was astonishing. However, the company has made the mid-tier handset of its G lineup official today for Rs 13,990. The company announced four handsets in Brazil a couple of weeks back and has brought just one to India.

The Moto G7 Power comes with a 6.2-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution coupled with a 5000mAh battery which will probably make it a battery champ in its category. That’s topped by a 15W fast charging brick bundled inside the box. However, it rocks a single rear 12MP camera while the front has an 8MP shooter. In terms of processing power, the latest Moto G series handset has a Snapdragon 632 SoC that runs Android Pie on first boot.
