A week after its presentation in China, Xiaomi has released the first update for the Mi 9. The update includes camera enhancements, already rewarded by DxOMark for its quality, including some new modes handled by artificial intelligence, and a function to shoot on the go while recording a movie.
The most unusual novelty, however, is a change to the form of the notch of Xiaomi Mi 9, as a result of complaints from many users on the Chinese forum, asked for a notch similar to that of OnePlus 6T. So with the 10.2.11.0 version of MIUI 10 China Stable comes an option to change the appearance of the notch (visible in the first image), and make it, as seen in the second image, virtually identical to that of OnePlus 6T at right.
The update for Xiaomi Mi 9, which weighs about 2.4 GB, is currently dedicated to the models marketed in China but it could arrive in the coming weeks for the global version. You can download Xiaomi Mi 9’s MIUI 10 China stable 10.2.11.0 update via this link.
