Amazon accidentally unveils P30 Pro price, launch date and more

A few hours ago, certainly by mistake, Huawei P30 Pro made its appearance in Amazon Italia. The smartphone was available in pre-order so it was the official product page. But as expected, after about an hour the page has been removed from public viewing, while revealing some additional details.

First of all, the specs of Huawei P30 Pro has been confirmed and is as follows:

  • 6.47″ Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) Dual Edge AMOLED display with 398 PPI density;
  • Dimensions of 158 x 73 x 8.41 mm for 192 g;
  • IP68 certification;
  • Octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor;
  • ARM Mali-G76 MP10 GPU;
  • 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM;
  • 128 GB of expandable storage via NanoSD;
  • Fingerprint reader in the display;
  • Rear quad camera 40 + 20 + 8 mega-pixel with ToF sensor, f/1.6-3.4 aperture, laser autofocus + PDAF and LED flash;
  • 32 mega-pixel front camera;
  • Dual SIM 4G+ support, Dual Band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, Dual Frequency GPS / A-GPS / GLONASS / BeiDou Galileo;
  • Battery of 4200 mAh with supercharge support;
  • Android 9 Pie operating system with EMUI 9.

The online retailer showed a release date of April 5th. The version seen on Amazon of P30 Pro is Amber Sunrise , but it should also be available in Midnight Black, Breathing Crystal and Aurora. As for the price, Amazon will sell the P30 Pro with 128GB of storage for 1028.19 EUR, that is equivalent to $1,168 USD based on current exchange rates.
