The device flaunts a 6.3-inch Full HD+ DotNotch display with 1.95 mm narrow bezels, 81.37% screen-to-body ratio, and a Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Its P2i nano-coating makes it splashproof and it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD. Based on Android 9.0 with MIUI 10 on top, the Redmi Note 7S is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0 which supports 18W  fast charging, though it only ships with a 10W charger.

In addition, Redmi Note 7S supports P2i life waterproofing. According to the official introduction, this device uses nano-water-repellent coating technology to form a uniform water-repellent film on the surface of the mobile phone. When water splashes on the phone, the surface of the mobile phone can drain away like a lotus leaf. This reduces the corrosion of common liquids such as oil, cola, wine, milk, sweat, salt spray, etc., and let it stay with you for a longer time.
