Redmi 20-inch Suitcase is official too, starts at 199 yuan/$28

Its no more news that Xiaomi backed Redmi brand unveiled its first flagship smartphone – the Redmi K20 Pro, alonghside the a more affordable mid-range offering dubbed the Redmi K20 in China earlier today. A 14” RedmiBook was also unveiled. Aside from the aforementioned gadgets, the brand also updated its non gadgets lineup with the unveiling of the Redmi 20-inch Suitcase with a scintillating look in a red color paint job.

The suitcase is tipped to go on sale alongside the Redmi K20 series  for 299 yuan ($43), though the first set of  customers to get any of the Redmi K20 will be able to get the travel suite at 199 yuan ($28), though it is strictly based on “first come, first served”.

The Redmi 20-inch Suitcase is made of 3 layers of Costron PC material for strong impact resistance, and has a delicate finish with the Redmi logo beautifully crested on one side. On the top, the case has an adjustable all-aluminium alloy trolley handle painted in dark brown which blends well with the red suitcase. And for safety and security purpose, the Redmi case has a TSA password lock which grants safety authorities like custom access to luggage without the passenger being present.

The case stands and moves on a four wheels that are entirely made from high-elastic TPE material, are wear resistant and can rotate on all directions. The internal compartments are well partitioned with flexible clothing material, and a multi-functional mesh pocket to keep clothing and belongings in place.
