ELEPHONE U2 should go on sale through Aliexpress on June 9th

Is the extremely delayed ELEPHONE U2 saga finally coming to an end ? Recent developments are hinting at it, because the makers finally let the general public know the final release date. So according to their official words the phone should go on sale on June 9th via Aliexpress. The only problem is we don’t know if that means the real sale of phones ready to be shipped or just a pre-sale activity with another waiting period. That’s a pretty significant distinction and we still don’t have an answer.

But at least we can finally put a face to the phone, because the listing on the ELEPHONE Aliexpress store has much more information than their actual website… So we now know ELEPHONE U2 will be featuring 6,26-inch BOE screen with FHD+ resolution adn 93,1% screen-to-body ratio, glass back, Helio P70 processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, 64 GB / 128 GB of internal storage, triple rear cameras sporting 16MP+5MP+2MP sensors with f/1.6 aperture and Super Night mode, pop-up selfie dual camera with 16MP+2MP sensors, side fingeprint scanner, NXP Smart PA audio chip, 3250 mAh battery with fast charge and Android 9 Pie system.

Another blank space was the pricing and the official word is not mentioning it either outside the “most cost-effective pop-up camera phone” quote, but once again the Aliexpress comes through. According the the listing the phone should get a special promo launch price of $189.99 and for starters will be available in Blue and Black color variants, even though some pictures show also a red one. Looking forward to the final release and we are happy one long saga is about to end. And the makers will also promote the ELEPHONE U2 launch with a huge giveaway event so make sure to keep an eye on their website or Facebook pages.
