Oppo backed Realme earlier today introduced the Realme X and Realme X spiderman to the Indian market. Alongside the X series smartphones, the brand also unveiled the Realme 3i -a slightly modified version of the Realme 3.
While the Realme X reps the company’s premium segment, the 3i builds on the company budget realme 3 series. Available in Diamond Black, Diamond Blue, and Diamond Red color option, the 3i most compelling feature is in the design. Similar to the Realme C2, the Realme 3i gets a diamond-cut design at the rear.
The same rear panel is adorned with a 13MP F/1.8 primary camera paired with a 2MP F/2.4 depth sensor with a fingerprint scanner below. And on the display front, it is fitted with a 6.2-inch IPS HD+ display protected by Gorilla Glass 3 with a waterdrop notch design housing the 13MP selfie cam with AI beautify. AI beauty can reportedly scan 296 facial recognition points and offers customized beauty effects.
At the helm of its affair is still Mediatek’s Helio P60 SoC. But this time around the P60 coupled with either 3GB or 4GB RAM along with 32GB or 64GB storage. Concluding the specs sheet is a 4,230 mAh battery with 10w, while it boots ColorOS 6 and Android 9 Pie.
The phone goes on sale in India starting July 23 exclusively on Flipkart. It is priced at INR 7,999 ($116) , and 9,999 ($145) for the 3GB and 4GB RAM.
