Vivo iQOO Neo 4GB RAM variant surfaces in TENAA

Vivo introduced the iQOO Neo earlier this month as an affordable gaming smartphone for the low budget audiences. Instead of opting for a newer midrange SoC like a Snapdragon 730, Vivo has chosen the last year’s Snapdragon 845 that still rocks solid for today’s standards. The Vivo iQOO Neo has a lot of gaming-related features like its big brother Vivo in. Now seems that the device will get even cheaper since a 4GB RAM variant appeared on TENAA. The lowest offering of the iQOO Neo has 6GB of RAM.

The combination of last year’s flagship SoC with a lower amount of 4GB can make the price to drop even further. Currently, the cheapest variant of iQOO Neo price is CNY1,798 (~$260/€230), and we can expect the new version to explore a pricing territory towards CNY1,500 (~$218/€194). While the amount of storage hasn’t been disclosed, there’s also a possibility of a new 4GB/128GB combo. Users could get a cheaper variant with less RAM, but without a need of sacrificing storage.

As aforementioned, the vivo iQOO Neo joins the gaming smartphone bandwagon in China.  It still sports all the Vivo’s MultiTurbo gaming features along with Vivo’s FlashCharge 22.5 W. Last but not least, the handset also includes touch acceleration for the digitizer.
