Samsung’s 108MP ISOCELL sensor to arrive on August 12


South Korean manufacturing giant, Samsung, has been doing a lot in smartphone camera development. Redmi and Realme will use Samsung’s new 64MP camera and the former’s intention to use this sensor is official. At Xiaomi’s unveiling of its plan to use the 64MP sensor, Xiaomi’s CEO believes that Samsung’s 100MP (specifically 108MP) camera is not far away.

Today, Samsung announced on Twitter that a new ISOCELL sensor will be released on August 12th. The company claims that it will ā€œredefine the resolutionā€ of cameras. Although Samsung was not specific, however, the industry speculates that it may release the 108MP sensor on August 12. Regarding the highlights of Samsung’s 108MP ISOCELL Xiaomi has previously disclosed some details. According to Xiaomi, the resolution of the camera is 12032 x 9024.
