Today we got yet another launch of feature phone models from the Energizer brand and the new models E241 and E241S are unique, because they are both powered by the KaiOS system. This lightweight system is bringing the essential smartphone elements to the feature phones so you will have 4G VoLTE, GPS, internet access and ability to download quite some handy apps with many crucial ones like WhatsApp, Facebook or Maps already pre-installed. So both these phone usher the era of smart feature phones to the market.

Both phones are featuring same 2,4-inch QVGA display with physical T9 keyboard beneath it so writing will be a piece of cake. Identical is also the 1900 mAh battery promising up to 28 hours of calls and 6 days of standby with ease, dual SIM support, back and front camera lens with LED flash , up to 128 GB microSD card support or 4 GB RAM and 512 MB of internal storage. The only difference is the used processor and mobile network support, E241S is equipped with Spreadtrum SC9820E and is full 4G VoLTE compliant, while E241 works only with Spreadtrum SC7731E and can offer 3G HSPA+ connection.

Both phones will be presented at the IFA 2019 event in Berlin from September 7th to September 11th so the sales will probably start right after that. Energizer will also be offering new extended 3-year warranty for both models so that’s also an added benefit. E241 will be priced at €29.99 and for E241S you will have to hand over just €34.99, with both of them being available in black and blue color variants. So how do you like this new smart feature phone category ?
