According to the report, the policy has not yet been finalized, but anonymous German government officials have confirmed the accuracy of the news. According to them, Germany’s security regulators will provide a level playing field for the next generation network. In addition, it will not exclude any company that has the capacity to participate.

Huawei is a partner of several German telecom operators. These operators previously said that if Huawei’s ban is active in Germany, it will delay the deployment of 5G networks for many years. This will not only set its 5G behind, it will also lose billions of dollars.

Huawei is currently the world’s largest supplier of 5G telecommunications equipment with a market share of more than 28 %. It is ahead of European companies such as Ericsson and Nokia. Its 5G network has received more than 50 orders worldwide. In addition, it has shipped over 150,000 units of 5G base stations globally.
