Apple is currently working on its future lineup of products namely iPhone 2020 and next AirPods Pro. The upcoming iPhone 2020 has been a part of numerous discussions over the last couple of weeks. Well, we now have yet another information on the devices. If the recent report is to be believed, the smartphone maker is considering to bundle its truly wireless earbuds with the next generation of iPhone devices. Furthermore, the report suggests other major manufacturers such as Samsung and Xiaomi might also follow the same trend next year.

For those who’re unaware, Apple AirPods lineup is one of the most popular truly wireless earbuds in the market. If that turns out to be true, the bundled AirPods will increase the overall value of iPhone devices significantly. That is considering Apple does not end up increasing the price of the iPhone 2020. That is highly unlikely of Apple suggesting that you should take this report with a pinch of salt.

Currently, Apple is bundling the wired EarPods with its devices which retails for around $29. This means that the earphones should cost even lesser for the company to manufacture. Apple AirPods, on the other hand, retails for $159 making it highly unlikely to come with devices for free. What’s more, Apple AirPods are much popular now and the company might not want to give it out for free since users are ready to pay for it.

On the other hand, Apple can simply increase the overall price of new iPhones covering the manufacturing cost of AirPods alongside. Well, this also seems unlikely since that can potentially impact the sales for future iPhones. On the contrary, the brand might just decide to bundle the AirPods only with the top-end variant.

Well, we’ll have to wait for the year 2020 to see whether the report comes to fruition or not. Reiterating, you should take this report with a pinch of salt.
