Today, Liu Jun, the senior vice president and president Lenovo Consumer Business Group, revealed that the Moto Razr may be released at the end of the second quarter of this year; he was referring specifically to the Chinese market.

As for the Chinese launch, Liu Jun said that Moto Razr will support 5G networks in the Asian country; which means additional work. Meanwhile the reliability of the folding technology has to reach 100,000 times folded without damage.

Hardware wise, the Motorola Razr packs a small 2.7 inches screen on the outside in the folded state with a resolution of 800 × 600. On the inside, we instead find a 6.2-inch folding screen with a resolution of 2142 × 876. It’s worth mentioning that there’s also a quite large bezel under the display; which is also where we find the fingerprint scanner. Motorola’s smartphone is then powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, adopts Android 9 Pie operating system, sports 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and packs a battery with a capacity of 2510mAh.

Finally, as we already know since launch, the Motorola Razr 2019 will be quite pricey at $1499.
