LG Launches LG Q51 Budget Phone with Helio P22 SoC, Triple Cameras: Specs, Features, Price

Earlier today, LG added yet another budget smartphone dubbed LG Q51 to its growing portfolio. The all-new budget device has now made its way to South Korea. It is worth mentioning that Q51 is the company’s first Q smartphone for the year 2020. Here is everything you need to know about the device from its specifications to the pricing.

LG Q51: Price, Availability

The LG Q51 smartphone comes with a price tag of WON N317,000 (roughly $260). The device is available only in a single storage variant featuring 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard memory. Coming to the color options, the brand is offering Moonlight Titanium and Frozen White. Interested buyers living in South Korea will be able to grab the device from February 28. With that said, there is no information on the global availability and pricing of the device.

Talking about the specifications, the LG Q51 features a 6.5-inch FullVision display with a waterdrop notch on the front. As expected, the notch houses the selfie camera. As you might have already seen, the device comes with thick bezels on the sides and a sizeable chin. The display comes with HD+ resolution as well. Under the hood, the device runs on Helio P22 chipset paired with 3GB RAM. The SoC comes with eight cores clocked at 2Ghz.

The onboard memory is expandable via microSD card. In terms of optics, there is a triple camera module at the back consisting of 13MP primary sensor, 5MP ultrawide lens and 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calling, there is a 13MP front snapper. All of these are backed by a 4,000mAh battery packed inside. Sadly, there is no information on the charging speed technology.

For biometrics, there is a fingerprint sensor on the back. Coming to the audio, the phone comes with stereo speakers and DTS: X 7.1 channel sound system. Other specifications include Android 10 with custom skin, Bluetooth, USB Type-C port and NFC for mobile payments.
