According to a boot screen image of Google Pixel 4a, the storage type for this smartphone is UFS. XDA Developers’ staff found clues about the Pixel 4a from the previously leaked video. The screenshot of the boot screen below shows that the Pixel 4a will use a 64GB UFS memory chip from SK Hynix. From the “fastboot getvar all” command in the output, we can see that the memory chip is SK Hynix’s UFS 2.1.
Google Pixel 4a uses a 5.8-inch or so display and it combines a punch-hole display with a square-shaped rear camera setup. Looking at the design, this is nothing like the appearance of last year’s Pixel 3a and 3a XL. The bezels are ultra-thing on all sides, the chin is a little thicker though. Although Google has a history of revising its paint job practically every year, it appears that the Pixel 4a will offer more than just Black, Clearly White, and Purple-ish hues.

In terms of specifications, the Pixel 4a uses a punch-hole screen solution. This is the first time Google is using this display solution. Its screen size is 5.7 or 5.8 inches. This device will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 or Snapdragon 765 mobile platform. Under the hood, we will also have at least 4GB of memory + 64GB of storage. There should be at least a 12MP sensor on the rear and 8MP camera in front. This smartphone will support a 3,080 mAh battery and it will run on Android 10. Other features include a rear fingerprint sensor, headphone jack, USB-C interface, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0 and 4G LTE.
It is worth mentioning that the measurement of the Pixel 4a maybe 144.2 x 69.5 x 8.2mm, compared to the iPhone 11 measurement of 150.9 x 75.7 x 8.3mm. The Pixel 4a is a full circle smaller than the iPhone 11 and the size is more similar to iPhone 8 (traditional 4.7-inch iPhone). In other words, the Pixel 4a is a single handphone similar to a 4.7-inch iPhone shape. However, the bad news is that today Google has just announced the cancellation of this year’s I / O conference.
