DxOMark reviews will be delayed due to COVID-19 lockdown

The renowned camera and audio review outfit DxOMark has taken to Twitter to announce new measures that would be adopted by the company in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic sweeping through Europe.

Worth noting that DxOMark is a France-based company. On March 17, the number of COVID-19 cases in France has risen past 7,000 with the numbers doubling in the past few days. This has prompted the French government to order a lockdown in order to curb the epidemic. The government quickly urged people to leave their homes only for essential purposes.

In light of this crisis, DXOmark released a statement that most of its employees will be working from home. This is a direct response to the French government’s directive. The statement also hints that only a few tests will be carried out at its offices during this period. Due to this new development, the firm states that some reviews will be delayed. However, the lockdown in France is for only 15 days. It’s a massive measure to contain the growing spread of COVID-19.

If everything goes as planned, workers will resume their normal duties. But for now, don’t expect to see a new DXOMark review shortly after the release of a new smartphone. Everyone must work together to fight with the new coronavirus and that’s good to see another tech-related company complying with authorities.

Early this month, the recently released Oppo Find X2 Pro grabbed the top position at the website’s ranking. We’ll probably need to wait several weeks to see if a new smartphone will claim this position.
