Bloomberg: iPhone 12 in the fall, but future Apple products may be delayed

This new week begins with a report from Bloomberg. After several leaks suspected of possible delays in the arrival of the iPhone 12 with 5G, now the American media claims that the main range of iPhone 12 will not be delayed.

The source is based on two reasons to say that: while a good part of the world suffers from the impact of the COVID-19 virus pandemic, in China everything is gradually returning to normal. And that means that the workers gradually return to the factories and the production rhythm gradually recovers towards the normal rhythm.

The second reason is that the mass production of the main range of iPhones had been scheduled for a long time to start in the summer, so the limitations that have existed during the last weeks have affected more products before the iPhone 12. If there are no more unforeseen events, that mass production will most likely begin with a good number of employees returning to the normal pace of work.

The bad news is in the rest of the release schedule that Apple has planned. Bloomberg notes that sometimes it takes years to produce and prepare the necessary components for a new device. And if the pandemic has seriously affected those markets, some products that Apple wanted to launch in the future may have to be delayed. What a product? We cannot know.

All in all, the renewal of the main range of iPhones remains Apple’s main financial pillar (with the help of the iPhone 9 that we will see if it arrives during this month). And if that pillar holds up with September releases, Apple’s long-term health is more than guaranteed. However, nothing is official yet, we will have to wait the developments of events and the spread of the virus in China in particular.
