Huawei’s Honor brand is more than just smartphones and to “honor” its portfolio of products, the brand is announced the Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 edition during its Honor Smart Life event. The new laptop weighs 1.7Kg and is 16.9mm thick, however, what’s more, interesting is fitted underneath.

Under the hood, the Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 boasts an Intel Core i5 or i7 chipsets with 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD. Moreover, there’s a dedicated GPU to ensure some gaming on this laptop – NVIDIA GeForce MX350 graphics with 2GB of VRAM. These specifications are built around a 16.1-inch FHD display with slim bezels and a 90% screen-to-body ratio. The laptop features a premium aluminum-alloy body and has two custom-made fans to ensure that everything will be cool, even during intense usage. Last but not least, the new 2020 edition features a 56Wh battery that should ensure at least 14 hours.

Pricing and Availability

The Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 will feature Glacial Silver color and it’s priced at CNY 5,999, approximately ~$842. For that price users will get the Core i5 variant. However, if you’re in for the i7 version, that variant will set you back CNY 6,699, which can be converted into $943. Unfortunately, the new laptop remains exclusive to China for now. Customers in the country can pre-order it from today, but the actual sales will start tomorrow May 19.
