The IFA 2020 taking place from September 3rd to 5th will be organized in Berlin as a three-day event with a limited number of participants. Due to the regulations on health and safety, the organizers have decided to exclude the public and to organize a pure invitation event. That is why the IFA 2020 is to be organized as a special edition that focuses entirely on the core B2B functions. This means the exchange of manufacturers, media representatives and dealers who deal with the topics of consumer electronics and home appliances.
IFA 2020 from 3 to 5 September in Berlin

The concept envisages four independent events taking place in parallel. The IFA Global Press Conference which will be limited to just two to three keynotes stages is the main one. Then we have IFA Global Markets show and IFA NEXT meets alongside IFA SHIFT Mobility in a single event. In addition to the IFA business, retail and meeting lounges.
IFA20 will offer you a real-life experience and the human connections that we all crave… from Thursday, 3rd of September to Saturday, 5th of September.
IFA will also offer a variety of digital events for those who can’t (or, given the state of the world, would prefer not to) attend in person. This edition will be far less limited in terms of attendance.
The organizers of the event said that this decision was taken in close collaboration with the German public health authorities. This, in order to ensure the safety of all, exhibitors and visitors alike. Social distancing will be present. And the IFA will equip itself with a new crowd control system and various hygiene measures will be implemented.
New devices will be in place to ensure everyone’s safety. In addition, only 1,000 people will enter the lounge each day. The general public will not get invitations to the event.
