Gizchina News of the week

  • 6.5-inch display
  • Helio P35 SoC
  • 4GB+256GB
  • 5,000 mAh battery

Talking about specifications, Moto G8 Power Lite is equipped with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a waterdrop notch housing front selfie shooter. The display has a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the device makes use of MediaTek Helio P35 chipset paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. If that’s not enough, then you can expand the onboard memory up to 256 GB via a microSD slot.

There is a triple camera module on the back that will handle all your camera-related needs. It consists of a 16MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. Sadly, the device lacks the ultrawide angle lens which is something other devices come packed with. For selfies and video calling, there is an 8MP front snapper present inside the notch. All of these run on a large 5,000 mAh battery with the standard 10W charging support.

For some unknown reason, the device runs on the dated Android 9 Pie software which might be a deal-breaker for many. As per the trend, you get the near-stock experience. Just like the other G8 devices, there is a fingerprint sensor present inside the Moto logo. For connectivity, there is a 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and micro USB port for charging.
