Apple may have to postpone the release of the iPhone 12 series

According to media reports, as is customary in the past, Apple releases a new flagship smartphone in September each year. However, there are speculations that this year’s iPhone 12 may be launched in November. According to a report from the Wall Street investment bank, Apple’s hardware shipments in the second quarter of 2020 were 35 million units, down 13% from the same period last year. Apple’s four new iPhones this year will support the 5G network as well as narrower OLED screens with a notch.

Apple is expected to release four iPhones this year: a 5.4-inch iPhone, a 6.7-inch iPhone, and two 6.1-inch iPhones. According to reports, all four iPhone 12 will come with an A14 processor. In addition to the screen size difference, the memory capacity also differs. The 5.4 and 6.1-inch starter version is 4GB RAM, the maximum storage is 256GB. However, the 6.1 and 6.7-inch comes with 6GB of RAM and the maximum storage will be 512GB.

According to previous reports, Apple may adjust the iPhone 12 series starter storage, from the previous iPhone 11 series 64GB to 128GB. However, the starting price of the iPhone 12 series will be cheaper than its predecessor. We all expect a $649 starting price. Nevertheless, the most expensive device in this new series could sell for up to $1399.
