The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 series has been in the news over the past few days with a good number of leaks. These leaks basically show the design and some specs of this tablet. However, the most recent report is the appearance of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ on GeekBench. According to the Geekbench running points, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor.
As shown in the figure, the Galaxy Tab S7+ model number is SM-T976B and it comes with 6GB of RAM. According to recent reports, Samsung is developing tablets with 11-inch and 12.4-inch screens. Each of these tablets will have two versions – Wi-Fi and cellular versions. Currently, the Galaxy Tab S7+ has passed Bluetooth certification and its model number is SM-T976B. Furthermore, there are reports that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ will arrive with a 120Hz refresh rate display. This big update would put the tablets at the same level as the Apple iPad Pro and its 120Hz display. With such a display, all operations will be more dynamic, smooth, and follow the gestures of the fingers more naturally.
Furthermore, the Galaxy Tab S7 series will come with the S-Pen feature like its predecessor. The high refresh rate display will make this feature more intriguing. The S-Pen will work better during digital drawing or 2D animations using various editing and photo retouching software. On the other hand, having a high refresh rate could badly affect battery life. So, Samsung is expected to pack their devices with larger than usual battery packs. As a matter of fact, some recent data from a certification organization indicates that the Galaxy Tab S7+ will be sporting a large battery; with its capacity topping at 10,090 mAh. As for the Galaxy S7, there are reports that it will come with a 7,760mAh capacity battery
Looking at other specs and design of this tablet, there are reports that it will come with a full metal body design. This tablet will use an 11-inch display and its dimensions is 253.7 x 165.3 x 6.3 mm. In the camera department, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 series comes with a dual rear camera setup. However, there is no information on the exact configuration. The camera will bump the overall thickness of the tab to 7.7mm.
Other features include 5G connectivity and One UI operating system on top of Android 10. Samsung should release the new Tab series in August.
