iPhone 12 to have a 4G version? Apple probably won’t do so much

iPhone 12

In recent times, there have been reports that Apple will release cheaper versions of the iPhone 12. These reports claim that the cheap versions will be 4G only and it will be iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Max only. They claim Apple will do this to give customers cheaper alternatives. Earlier today, there were more reports claiming that Apple will sell the iPhone 12 4G and iPhone 12 Max 4G for $549 and $649 respectively. According to reports, Apple adopted this pricing strategy mainly from iPhone 11 and iPhone SE 2 pricing strategies. The same source had earlier said that the price of the iPhone 12 / Max 5G is $649 and $749 respectively. This means that the 4G version is $100 cheaper than the 5G models. However, will Apple do this?

While accepting that the iPhone 12 series will have a simple 4G version, sources claim that this is obviously a bit redundant for Apple. According to analysts, the integrated 5G baseband of the iPhone 12 series is compatible with all network versions. Although the pure 4G version may reduce the cost, it is still redundant for them. Doing so will only lower the new phone and the original market target. After all, 5G and new form factor is the focus of the upgrade.

Apple iPhone 12

According to media reports, Apple is applying for a new USB Type-C power adapter worldwide, with a power of 20W and a model of A2305. This is exactly the same as the spy photos previously exposed. It looks like this new phone from Apple is about to launch this new product.

According to some sources, this year, Apple intends to continue to improve the charging experience of its new series. In short, it will arrive with a 20W fast charging charger. The previous high-end version of the iPhone 11 used an 18W USB-C power adapter. This will undoubtedly increase the charging speed of the new machine.

However, many users are not comfortable with Apple’s character in terms of including the charger in the box. In the best-case scenario, only the top version will come with this charger in the box. The other version will still come with a 5W charger. Users of these versions will have to pay for it at their own expense.

Earlier reports said that the mass production of Apple’s new iPhone’s this year was delayed by four to six weeks from the plan, but Apple will still announce a new product lineup in September, and some models may not be ordered until October or November.
