The second wave of distribution of the update to MIUI 12 has started. Among those who were the first to receive a stable global version of the new user interface was the Poco F2 Pro smartphone. The update began its distribution in Europe and weighs just over 1 GB. It has the build number 12.0.1.0.QFKEUXM.

The firmware is distributed by air and at the time of writing, it reached only a few European countries. As it often happens, the update is unfolding gradually, covering more and more regions and devices every day. The MIUI 12 for Poco F2 Pro is based on the Android 10 OS, but rumor has it that developers have started testing the firmware based on Android 11.

With the arrival of MIUI 12, users will receive a redesigned interface, be able to set dynamic wallpapers and enjoy the updated dark mode. In addition, they will get updated privacy and security features. Also, users gain full control over the permissions they give applications. The Mask System mode has been also introduced allowing you to create a virtual identity for using utilities without permissions.
