In this case, users of Pixel 2/2 XL should expect a similar experience as the original Pixel and Pixel XL. After the launch of Android 11, there will be only one or two final security updates, After these updates which will come before the end of the year, they won’t be receiving any other.

At the release of the Android 11 beta, Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are among the devices to get this update. Furthermore, Pixel 2 series users will receive it when the stable Android 11 update arrives later this year. Unlike the first Pixel series, Pixel 2 and later products will get three major updates.
