Asus has finally released the ROG Zephyrus G14 lineup in India. Starting at as low as ₹80,990, the laptops have the latest AMD Ryzen 4 series of CPUs, fingerprint sensor, display panel up to 120Hz refresh rate and more.
Design-wise, Asus has used a Magnesium alloy frame to make it durable and lighter at the same time. It is 17.9mm and weighs in at 1.6kg. There is also an optional AniMe Matrix LED strip on the back of the laptop.

Asus says the strip has 1215 mini-LEDs on them and they can be customized to show logo, pictures, and also show animations, audio visualisations, notifications and more. As for the display, there are options for the 14-inches to choose either 1080p display at 60/120Hz refresh rate and a variant with 1440p panel with 60Hz refresh rate.
Asus says the laptop has thinner bezels around the display and has an 85% screen-body ratio. The display also covers 100% of sRGB colour gamut which is good for professional works and has adaptive sync to aid gaming.

Under the hood, the ROG Zephyrus G14 laptops come with AMD Ryzen 4 CPUs onboard. We have three CPU configurations- Ryzen 5 4600HS, Ryzen 7 4800HS, and Ryzen 9 4900HS variants. We also have a corresponding NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650, 1650Ti, 1650 Ti Max-Q, and goes up to 6GB DDR6 RTX 2060 Max-Q variant which has a boost up to 1298MHz at 65W.
The RAM on the Zephyrus laptops goes up to 32GB DDR4 at 3200MHz and storage of up to 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD configurations. Asus says the laptop has custom cooling to keep the temps below while intense gaming.
Miscellaneous features
Asus says it has designed the keyboard with Ergo lift hinge for better comfortable typing which is inspired from a typical desktop keyboard layout. It has a travel distance of 1.7mm, comes with LED backlighting, N-Key rollover, 4 Gaming hotkeys and a fingerprint sensor.
Other features include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, 2×2.5W speaker with Smart AMP technology, Dolby Atmos and a 2×0.7W tweeter, array microphone, 2xUSB 3.2 Type-A, 2x USB-C Gen2, 1xHDMI 2.0, 1×3.5mm audio jack ports for connectivity. As for the battery life
Asus claims 10-hours battery life with the 72Whr battery which charges via USB-C port.
Price and availability
The ROG Zephyrus G14 comes in Eclipse Grey, Moonlight White colours and starts at ₹80,990 without the LED strips while the variant with AniMe LED strips starts at ₹98,990. The laptop will be available in India online via Amazon.
