While the Android tablet market has been dormant over the last couple of years; Apple’s iPad has managed to do the contrary. Samsung has been working hard to overcome the Android tablet markets with its flagship Galaxy Tab S lineup. Samsung appears to be working on a new tablet; as leaked renders now show off the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 2020 in its Gold and Gray colours.

Galaxy Tab A7 Renders

Thanks to Evan ‘evleaks’ Blass and his Patreon, the renders of the Galaxy Tab A7 2020 have been leaked and they show off the upcoming android tablet from Samsung in two different colours. From the renders, it can be seen that the tablet is surprisingly basic in looks; with the design pretty similar to the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite from the same manufacturer. There is a single rear camera and a front with decently-sized bezels. Samsung branding can be seen on the back.

While Evan does not mention anything else, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 (SM-T505); had earlier previously appeared in its 10.4-inch variant in a Google Play Console listing. According to the listing, the Galaxy Tab S7 will pack in a  10.4-inch display; with a resolution of 1200 x 2000 pixels. Under the hood, the tablet could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset; and have at least 3GB of RAM onboard.

Gizchina News of the week

Going by the looks and preliminary specifications, we do expect the Galaxy Tab A7 2020 to be specialised for some of the early segments of the market with multiple storage variants and possible options for Wi-Fi-only and LTE models. While it isn’t immediately clear if the tablet would officially support the new S Pen just like the Galaxy Tab S7 series or the S6 Lite, it is unlikely that an S Pen would be included in the box as the target pricing is expected to be humble.

The listing on the Dutch retailer has revealed the price along with the release date of the budget tablet. The 32GB WiFi-only will arrive with a price tag of 235 Euro while the LTE version of the same storage will be priced at 293 Euro. It is worth noting that these pricings are inclusive of VAT.

The 64GB WiFi-only will set you back around 266 Euro while the LTE version will be priced at 323 Euro. Coming to the availability, the tablet should arrive in stock on September 11. It is worth noting that this release date is unofficial. If this is really the timeline, we should be hearing from Samsung itself soon.
