The Snapdragon Wear 4100 processor is the first major update of Qualcomm’s wearable chipset since Wear 3100 in 2018. According to Qualcomm, the CPU and memory of the new chipset are 85% faster, its GPU is 2.5 times faster, and power consumption is reduced by about 25%. Mobvoi matched the chip with 1GB of memory, 8GB of storage space, and a larger 577 mAh battery.

Gizchina News of the week

Like the original TicWatch Pro, Pro 3 has two displays: an OLED display and a low-power normally-on FSTN display. The low-power display is on the top. When the main OLED display is in use, it becomes transparent, and you can switch between the two by flipping your wrist.

The company said that the smart mode has a battery life of up to 72 hours. The “basic mode” uses its low-power display and turns off most of the watch’s smart functions (excluding sleep, heart rate, and blood oxygen monitoring), and you can get up to 45 days of battery life. Despite having a larger battery, TicWatch Pro 3 is still thinner than the original TicWatch Pro.

Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3 Software

In terms of software, Mobvoi has launched a series of new applications on TicWatch Pro 3. The TicOxygen app can track your blood oxygen saturation, TicZen can measure your stress, and TicBreathe can help you manage stress when your stress is too high. TicHearing is a new application that can detect when your environment may become dangerous and noisy. Mobvoi also said that the TicPulse app now has better heart rate tracking and TicSleep can now work in a low-power basic mode.

TicExercise now supports more than 10 exercise modes. The new modes include swimming, rowing, elliptical, mountaineering, trail running, and aerobic exercise. Mobvoi said that this watch can automatically recognize which exercise you are doing. The waterproof rating of TicWatch Pro 3 is IP68, so it can be taken into the pool, and it also comes with a silicone wrist strap. As a Wear OS smartwatch, TicWatch Pro 3 includes a series of standard Google features, such as support for Google Pay and Google Assistant.
