Vivo V20 SE will go official in India on November 2

Vivo is quickly expanding its smartphone business in 2020. The company has been the fifth worldwide smartphone maker during the last quarter thanks to its very successful Y line of smartphones. The company now is gearing up to launch the Vivo V20 SE in India to complete the Vivo V20 family. While some details have been confirmed earlier this month, the company didn’t confirm the pricing in the country. Just recently, a leak pointed out that the handset will cost around INR 20,990 (~$281). A new report from 91Mobiles reveals some tidbits about the Vivo V20 SE availability in India. Apparently, the device will make its big debut in India on November 2.

The Vivo V20 SE will come with a price tag of INR 20,990 just like the previous reports stated. The company will sell it in the Gravity Black and Aquamarine Green colorways. Moreover, the company will present customers of ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank, and Bank of Baroda with a 10 percent cashback. The buyers of the handset will also have other offers such as the Vivo update program, one-time screen replacement, and INR 10,000 worth of benefits from Jio and Vi. We’re two days away from the launch and the handset is already available for pre-order through some offline channels.

Vivo V20 SE specifications

The Vivo V20 SE boasts the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC. This chipset may not be your cup of tea, especially in 2020. But it still offers solid mid-range performance for basic tasks. It can handle some games but don’t expect high graphics settings. Apart from the non-appealing chipset, the Vivo V20 SE comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of Storage. Even today, 8GB RAM isn’t a standard for mid-range phones, so we have to credit Vivo for bringing this to the $280 price range. The storage of the device can also be expanded via a microSD card.
