Xiaomi M2012K11C with Snapdragon 875 SoC appeared on GeekBench

Xiaomi’s unknown flagship device with model number M2012K11C appeared on GeekBench. Although the name of the device is still unknown. It is speculated to be the Xiaomi Mi 11 which will launch earlier next year. However, a Weibo blogger recently alleged that the Xiaomi Mi 11 series will come with a new and unique design and will be powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 SoC.

According to the GeekBench listings, Xiaomi M2012K11C has scored 1105 in single-core and 3512 in multi-core scores. Xiaomi’s new device runs on Android 11 and pairs with 6GB of RAM. The device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm processor clocked at 1.8GHz. Although the exact name of the chipset is not there in the listing. However, we have a source code that mentions Adreno 660 GPU that is expected to come with Snapdragon 875 SoC.

It’s worth telling you that Qualcomm is yet to announce Snapdragon 875 SoC on 1st December 2020. The company published the launch event invite on Weibo. It is said that the upcoming Snapdragon 875 is developed on a 5nm process. Moreover, it is expected to have ARM’s latest, high-performance Cortex-X1 core. The upcoming SD 875 SoC will perform 23% better than the Snapdragon 865 SoC.

Talking about Xiaomi M2012K11C, it might launch in January 2021. So it will be the main competitor to the Samsung Galaxy S21 Series which is also expected to surface in January 2021.

However, Xiaomi has launched its flagship Mi 10 earlier this year in February 2020. Xiaomi Mi 10 is one of the first smartphones to have Qualcomm’s newly launched Snapdragon 865 SoC. Similarly, Xiaomi M2012K11C might be the Mi 11, and also the first Xiaomi smartphone to have Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 SoC.
