Back in 2019, Xiaomi announced a new entrant to its smartphone series – the Xiaomi CC series. At the time, Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun, explained that CC stands for “Colourful” and “Creative”. He also claims that this series is developed by Xiaomi’s youngest team at the time – the Chic&Cool 90 team. The company eventually launched the Xiaomi CC9 Pro and it was the first smartphone to use a 108MP sensor. The company also unveiled the Xiaomi CC9 Meitu customized version. However, with Meitu taking back its authorization this year, Xiaomi had to suspend the CC series. According to reports, the company then channeled the CC9 series resources to its Youth Edition (Lite) version. However, there are claims that the Xiaomi CC10 series could be on its way.
Recently, reports out of China claims that the Xiaomi CC series will be making a comeback. A recent certification shows a BN4E battery with a rated value of 4260 mAh and a typical value of 4360 mAh. The report claims that this battery will be for the Xiaomi CC10 series. Howebevr, there is nothing concrete to suggest that this battery is for the Xiaomi CC10 series.
Neverthekess, the leaker claims that this series will be official in the near future. Furthermore, another Weibo blogger (@公然熊猫 ) claims that the Xiaomi CC10 series will use a 4360 mAh battery. Whether or not this smartphone is coming remains to be seen. However, there are the first information about the Xiaomi CC series in a very long time.

Unlike the Mi and Redmi series, Lei Jun explains that the Xiaomi CC series is a different series, designed by its young team with vast knowledge in art and targeted at young fashion trendsetters that “want to define themselves”. In essence, Xiaomi will churn out selfie-focused flagships targeted at young fashionists.
If the Xiaomi CC10 returns, we don’t know how Xiaomi will differentiate and place this device. Actually, the Xiaomi CC9 series was not a very popular lineup after its launch. Despite the use of a huge 108MP camera, it did not attract much attention. Of course, it is nothing close to what Redmi offers and even the Lite (Youth Edition) seems to be more popular than the CC series.
