Apple Watch Series 7 Set To Launch In India Soon Sporting A New Design

Apple Watch Series 7 Launch

Apple Watch Series 7 is slated to launch in India in September this year, sporting a radically overhauled design and top-notch features. The Apple Watch took the smartwatch segment by storm and continues to dominate the category. The market is teeming with a slew of Apple Watch competitors such as the Galaxy Watch series. However, the Cupertino-based tech giant’s wearable is simply unparalleled.

Now, the company is gearing up to launch its next-gen wearable dubbed, the Apple Watch Series 7. While nothing is set in stone yet, Apple is expected to launch its new smartwatch series in September. The company has a reputation for announcing a new Apple Watch in September, and it is unlikely to break with the tradition.

Apple Watch Series 7 Launch, Price In India

The Watch Series 7 will adopt a new design if rumors making the rounds online prove to be true. However, a new design will not affect the price tag it carries, considering that Apple has been pretty static in terms of pricing. Moreover, the Apple Watch Series 6 has a starting price of INR 40,900 (about $399). So, the upcoming Watch Series 7 could retail for around the same price.

Moreover, the company has registered new Apple Watch variants with the EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission). This comes before the rumored Watch Series 7 launch in September. The EEC filings show Apple Watch models A2478, A2477, A2476, A2475, A2474, A2473. The listing was first discovered by Consomac. Regrettably, the model numbers do not divulge details about the upcoming watch. However, the database filings are usually indicators of an impending release.

Ming-Chi Kuo claimed that the Apple Watch Series 7 would sport a newfangled outward appearance. According to the noted Apple analyst, the upcoming wearable will be thicker than earlier variants. Aside from that, he said that the smartwatch will not feature health sensors. This will again, free up space for a more robust battery.

In May this year, Jon Prosser revealed that the Apple Watch Series 7 will adopt a flat-edged design like the iPad Air, iPad Pro, and the iPhone 12. Moreover, the series could come in a green color variant for the first time. In his video, Prosser exhibited the design of the upcoming wearable.
