Realme Book Slim will offer a solution for smartphone management

Realme Book Coming Soon

Realme started its succesful journey as a smartphone brand. However, now the acts in multiple segments offering wearables such as smartwatches or true wireless earphones and even Smart TVs. On August 18th, the company will give another bold step to become a solid “technology” company by introducing its very first laptop the Realme Book Slim. The new device will come with a compact design and very good specifications. Now, the company has just revealed that it will also offer some neat software features for those who have Realme smartphones.

Gizchina News of the week

Realme’s upcoming laptop will come with a smartphone connect feature. This is similar to Huawei’s Share and Microsoft’s Your Phone. It will allow users to control their smartphones from the PC and share files. The new feature is dubbed PC connect and will likely work between the new Realme Book and a list of supported Realme smartphones. Much like Huawei’s software solution, we don’t expect Realme to expand this to other Android smartphones.

The Realme Book integration with smartphones will work in a different way than Huawei’s solution. Instead of using NFC like Huawei which requires you to tap the phone on the laptop’s touchpad, Realme is expected to use Wi-Fi Direct. Of course, this is mere speculation at this moment. After all, Realme is yet to disclose the full functionality of such a feature. Thankfully, we’ll know everything about the Realme Book soon enough.
